The Sacrament of Reconciliation can be received either before or after mass.
In our church you are also welcome to book and request Mass Intentions.
We would like to remind that Holy Communion may receive only the one who has not committed mortal sin since his/her last confession and said last confession had taken place not more than 12 months ago. Otherwise you need the Sacrament of Reconciliation in order to receive the Holy Communion. Receiving of Holy Communion in state of mortal sin is sacrilege.
We would like to remind that “Whenever necessity requires or a genuine spiritual advantage suggests, and provided that the danger of error or indifferentism is avoided, it is lawful for any Catholic for whom it is physically or morally impossible to approach a Catholic minister, to receive the sacraments of penance, Eucharist and anointing of the sick from a minister of an Eastern Church” (Directory for the Application and Norms on Ecumenism, 123).
